York Unity is hosting its 7th Annual White Rose “Invitational” Tournament the weekend of May 21-22, 2011. Deadline for Registration is Sun. May 8, 2011.
The tournament is for girls’ teams, Grades 5 - 11th (see the new age group chart). Teams will be playing on High School and Middle School Gyms. All games will be officiated by two (2) Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) officials. Each team will play 14 minute halves (Grades 5-8th) and 16 minute halves (Grades 9-11th). No shot clock or running clock. All teams will be scheduled against teams of comparable skill and talent so as to try and ensure competitive games for all teams.
Best efforts will be made to accommodate all scheduling requests. All teams are guaranteed four (4) games.
Schedules will be posted on the York Unity AAU web site by the Thursday prior to the tournament date. For more information, please visit our website www.yorkunitysports.com. The cost for each tournament is $425.00 per team and checks should be made payable to: “York Unity Sports”. Please take advantage of registering three (3) or more teams at the reduced price of $400.00 per team. Please note all three teams or more must be on the same check.
